Suffering is due entirely to clinging quotes | Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj
"Suffering is due entirely to clinging or resisting. It is a sign of our unwillingness to move on, to flow with life."- Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj Suffering comes from our attachment to things or our resistance to changes. If we have attachment to than it may cause pain. For example if hold on tightly to any person or object, when we lose the person or the object we may feel sad and pain inside. Similarly we should also not try to resist natural flow of life. In life we cannot control anything. When ever we try to resist change it can create suffering because change is inevitable. Suffering comes when we deny change and don't adopt to situations as it comes. If we don't accept change than we are creating misery in life. Suffering comes due to our inability to accept life as it comes. To reduce suffering we need to practice acceptance and be flexible to accept the change.
