Short Biography of Steve Jobs
There is no important creator and executive in technology industry other than Steve Jobs. Born in San Francisco, California on Feb 24
th1955, Steve was adopted by Paul and Clara jobs. He had lot of interest in electronics from young age. During high school Steve job met Steve Wozniak and both of them were hired by Hewlett Packard (HP) during summer. Later Job dropped out of college but continued education informally.
In 1976 Jobs and Wozniak started Apple computers from Job’s family garage. They produced Apple I computer which was not success, but with Apple II computer they got success and within few years they were selling computers worth 100 million dollars.
Apple went public on December 12th 1980 with value of 1.2 billion dollar first day but in next few years it lost it’s share to IBM. By 1985 Apple forced Steve Jobs to resign. When Steve Jobs was pushed out of Apple, he picked up himself pretty quickly and started building another company called NeXT, with people he wanted to get involved. In 1986 Jobs acquired PIXAR, a computer graphics company and worked as the Company CEO, while actively developing his computer company NeXT. Apple purchased NeXT in 1996 and eventually turned Jobs into CEO. His software NeXTSTEP evolved into Mac OS 10.
Apple then produced many devices that changed the world. The Iphone is single most important device of the modern era. Ipod to the Iphone to the Ipad has been the most important trend in the technology. Apple raised awareness of product design and its functionality.
In 2011 Forbes Magazine named Apple most valuable company in the world. Same year Steve Jobs resigned and on 5th October 2011, he died from complications related to pancreatic cancer.
